Established in 1958, Changhong has witnessed significant prosperity and is now one of the largest Chinese consumer electronics provider specializing in R&D, manufacturing and marketing of consumer electronics products. Changhong became a public traded company with shares listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1994. In 2005, Changhong’s annual turnover hit $2.2 billion US dollars and reached US Dollars 3.1 billon in 2006. In Jun.2008, Changhong’s overall brand valued at US Dollars 9.5 billion. Today, Changhong has branches and joint ventures with over 35,000 employees worldwide.


Founded in 2003, Guangdong Changhong Electronics Co., Ltd., with the registered capital of RMB500 million, is a large-scale consumer electronics enterprise integrated with the R&D, production and marketing of digital flat-panel TV (LCD, PDP, and LED) and CRT TV, and also the overseas business center of Changhong Group. With a total area of 480,000.0m2 , construction area of 320,000.0 m2 and more than 3000 employees, Guangdong Changhong Electronics Co., Ltd. is a strategic base of Changhong Group for south China and international market. 



Guangdong Changhong has set up commercial centers in 10 countries such as USA, France, Algeria, Ukraine, India, and Thailand etc. and 6 subsidiaries in Australia, Indonesia, Czech, United Arab Emirates, Russia, and Hongkong. Together with the strategy of promoting self-owned brand, Guangdong Changhong has also jointly developed OEM/ODM business with many world famous brands, with sales network all over the world and products sold in more than 110 countries and regions.
           

With the strong backup of state-level technical center from Changhong Group, Guangdong Changhong has established its own R&D center for overseas market, which is made up of more than 100 engineers and focusing on the development of new flat panel display products, digital chipset, embedded software and other key parts.


Guangdong Changhong is possessed of advanced automatic production lines, mounting machine groups, injection machine groups, component inserting machinge groups, and advanced equipments including the painting and high-speed punching machine with the international leading level; besides, it also owns the automatic testing system for the color TV safety performance and other advanced detection equipments and facilities. In addition to the above, the company has also passed ISO system certification and the global CE and UL certification and satisfied the requirements of the WEEE and RoHS directives. Moreover, it is with the annual production capacity of 3 million flat-panel TVs and 2.5 million CRT TVs, which is the largest color TV export base in China.
